I don't remember if it was a Smartblue 350 or and original Audigy 2, I do remember I had a heck of a time finding the place in that little taxi stand or whatever it used to be just off the rotary there the first time I went out. |

I've re-though this, I'll probably go with a Sammy S27A850D at 2560x1440 instead. Weird resolutions and gaming didn't seem like a good idea. |

I'm looking at the LG one for a possible upgrade. |

I've been using the onboard sound on my HTPC, it's udder crap. It was terrible on the Atom so I got a Audigy NX for it, but that got fried when my UPS blew up, I've replaced the Atom with a Q6600/P5Q Deluxe and the onboard sound is terrible on that as well. And that's an high end mobo. |

I hear that, but I think I'll be getting something from team green this time, it's been years since I've gotten screwed by Nvidia. |

She's up and running now, luckily she just booted up from the SSD and all I had to do was install the new drivers, Windows updates and my games would have taken forever if I had to do a re-install. |

Didn't have any running out of memory issues with 4GB, probably won't have any with twice that either. |

It's an old P45 board so it's only SATAII, I should be doing a proper upgrade about May or so though, this Q6600 is getting old. |

That ought to give the old girl a boost until I can do a proper upgrade in the Spring. |
