But I've heard the stereotype for years so it must get like that somehow lol. Judge people as individuals, and don't build judgements based on what you heard. If there was some sort of irony contest going on, you'd be the winner my friend. So yeah, lock this mofo down, Denty. Phonix has had his say... |

Wait a sec here, so despite having never been to Toronto, and having met lots of people from here who weren't assholes.........you still strongly suspect that we're a gigantic stereotype. Nice. But you know what? That was my exact experience when I lived there. Got called an "Upper Canadian&quo... |

I'm late to the game on this thread, but I saw a thing on CBC a long time ago where they tested (on a very, very pricey piece of equipment...) one of those million dollar Monster cables vs some 6 dollar sucker they bought online. And to nobody's surprise, They both worked perfectly. Case closed. |

I'm gonna keep an eye on what you guys have to say about it once the final release comes out. My current computer has been freakin' amazing to me so I haven't upgraded in a long time (I think about 4 or 5 years...). So if Win7 kicks as much ass as I'm hoping it will, I'll order up a new supercompute... |

after hanging 64 sheets of drywall today, i beg to differ on the ns stereo type And as a Torontonian that holds doors for people and doesn't kick old ladies in the face (all that often...), I'm not crazy about us being perceived as a-holes. :lol: People are so annoying. They think that where they'r... |

Seriously. I'm sure that like a lot of you, I decided to skip Vista altogether and ride it out with XP. And it works okay. But then again, so did Windows 2000 but I'm not still using that. Haha. The other day, totally fed up with screwing around with the unbelievable nightmare that is colour profile... |

It's true- we're a-holes. Just like how people from Calgary are wannabe Amurrican hicks, people from Nova Scotia are lazy and live off the govt. teat and people from Vancouver are flaky potheads.
Stereotypes=fun and totally true. |

Yeah, I was amazed at how many people are still here. Seems like things have slowed down quite a bit, but I guess that makes sense if there's no no blood coming in. So what's up with that? There's only 20 computer enthusiasts in Halifax? That can't be right! Haha. |

Yep- still have the Nash Strat. Got a Nash Jazzmaster go go with it as well. Plus a lot of other guitars. It's kind of shameful, actually, considering I don't even really play anymore. Haha. The MINI is treating us well so we still have that car. Sold the condo before the market tanked and bought a ... |

I was sitting around last night trying to remember the last time I bought a new computer and realized it had been so long since I'd been here. So long, in fact, that I had to re-register. Hahaha.
So what's new? Get me all caught up on what you're up to now.
