I woke up yesterday morning, looked out the window and thought:

But joy, there is almost no more show. :D

Absolutely no change whatsoever. The MTU size remained the same, no errors occurred, nothing before or after restarting. This is what it is after: Idx Met MTU State Name --- --- ----- ----------- ------------------- 1 50 4294967295 connected Loopback Pseudo-Inte 8 20 1400 connected Local Area Connec...

Alright guys, so here's the deal: We have a Belkin Wireless G router hooked up to an Alient ISP box. During the first few years (a span of, say, 3 years), we didn't have a problem with it. Wireless worked fine and everything was fluid and flowing. About 2 years ago, things hit a wall - we (my brothe...

It's more of a matter of: "Will it run what it should?" An OC'd 4890 will meet any graphic standards you may need right now (not all mind you, but enough to say). If you have the money to spare for a 5870, then by all means go for it - but like everyone else is saying, waiting for the pric...

You're telling me - I still have my first Nvidia AGP card in an old chassis somewhere buried in my room. Top of the line stuff - small too. Now it just looks like ATI is trying to make people appear to be compensating for something with the size of their cards.

Thanks for the input guys - and what I did was compare my rig to what other have, but they usually have a 1000W or so with too many other things juicing the PSU to do a proper comparison. However, I did come across (as a majority) that 800/850 seemed to be the norm, but some are running 750. Of cour...

Joking aside, I looked up the power consumption of running a crossfire 4890 system with all of my LED fans, CPU/RAM voltage, HDDs and USB peripherals. It rendered a PSU of around 620W. I'm currently running a 700W PSU, but I'm still a bit iffy - even though the Sapphire site says a CF system needs a...

Not a big Slayer fan, but Megadeth would be worth going to if they played a bunch from their Warchest album.

I think I'll finally upgrade from WinXP32 with this version of Windows, but probably not right off the hop. There's bound to be bugs and glitches to be sure, but I'm going to wait a month or two for Microsoft to update and fine-tune Win7.
