His bragging and sh#t were a little too much for me.... I guess when he ran out of cash, he couldn't make endless posts enhancing his e-penis. I hope you be talking about Clarke! ...lol I'm still messing around with efforts to cool electronics  I moved on from Desktop PC cooling and more inte... |

The tips above are good to remember. Watercooling is a system which transfers heat to the air. Engineering of a watercooling system is determined by the heat which you intend to generate. The rate of heat transfer is a function of waterblock, flow rate, cooling fluid, radiator design, radiator surfa... |

I don't knock hardware or those who choose different configurations than my own. I am actually looking at the 6 port Radeon for running six monitors. There is no such thing as too large of a desktop. |

The last ATI cards I owned were aquired by Rob and came directly from ATI in a plain cardboard box. On the Nvidia side, EVGA is the clear winner with both product and software tweaking tools. XFX comes in a close second due to awesome over clocking potential because they bin chips and have numerous ... |

Yes I know it's not a dual socket Xeon-only board, but most of us live in the land of limited monetary resources. Judging by the items in your signature, you're not one of them right now. The Gigabyte board is going to be a solid performer and has been LN2 tested over at: http://www.xtremesy... |

Ski - are you exploring the SR2 avenue possibly? All of the AMD CPU's I ran were excellent performers, and while the A64s were king, they too commanded top dollar. I was talking to Rob yesterday about the SR2 solution. Both of my previous dual socket gaming boards were king of the day...that being ... |

lol...an anti intel thing again, I thought so... yawn. Show me that Xeons don't make crapload more profit than equiv speed i7's.
Please take your intel bashing to another thread, or even better yet, a whole different forum.
Thank you. |

Wow. One would only spend that amount of money on such a machine for running benchmarks. You're kidding right? Then why tout QUAD-SLI and X-FIRE on their webpage? Obviously to increase market potential, but as you know, just because it is capable of quad sli/XFire does not mean this is the only pur... |

It is the ability to overclock these dual 1366s that is the selling feature, not the quad sli/Xfire. I am unaware of any other dual dual 1366 WS or server boards that can overclock by so much as a single MHz, every manual I've seen has this ability disabled, and never mind supporting a hexa-core cpu... |

I once owned two overclockable dual socket boards, the ABIT BP6 and VP6. For this possible build, Mobo from EVGA direct is $599.00 Xeon X5650 @ $1127 CDN each I have everything else that is needed except for an additional 1366 waterblock to make it run just fine, for a total pre tax of $2853.00. I'd... |
