I've been on this since v1, beautiful stuff. I believe I've shared it before, but I just realized today that there was a 2008 edition.

Hey all, just thought I would pass along the following link which will allow you to obtain a legal and working beta of the upcoming OS. I believe the keys the website generates for you last for 120 days or so? Anyway here's the link for both 32 and 64 bit. You might have to refresh a couple times, a...

You make a good point. Maybe I should explain myself a little better. At this moment I use my computer mostly for multimedia (Huge music library, as well as a lot of unrar'ing if you know what I mean :)) and a decent bit of creative work (PS & DW CS4). I also am into Gentoo linux which is a sour...

It won't be a gaming rig, at least as long as the 360 gaming gaming lifespan lasts. The only game I can see myself playing on it is CS:Source and a couple other games I don't feel like paying $50-65 bucks for. I was thinking just build a nice solid computer and then put in a more powerful graphics c...

Thanks for the input, so would the 8800GTS I mentioned in my edit work out?

And I'm not sure how capable of memory I need to achieve an OC to 3.0Ghz, how could I figure that out?

Hello all, I've parted out my PC and will be rebuilding it as an i7 upon my return to Ohio. I'm upgrading from a barely overclocked AMD64 3500+ Venice (939). I wanna make sure I do this right while staying within a reasonable budget and so I thought I would get some advice from you all. Since I will...

I'm not even in the market for anything that powerful, but I think it looks sweet. :) For now I'll stick to my 360.

Denty I've PMed you. :) is the usb thumb drive still plugged in? Nope. It's actually on top of a cardboard box right now, with the PSU, Video, Proc & RAM but still can't get it to post. I think I might stay away from my cases front USB ports for a long while. (It's an Antec 300) I'll also play a...

I have an ECS KN1 Sli Extreme, with a AMD 939 Venice 3500+. It's running with 3GB's of DDR400 and a PCIe 6600LE. I've had this motherboard for about 2/3 years now and just recently I while I was burning a DVD I inserted a USB Flash drive (into the front port of the case). Immediately after I did thi...

If you're looking into a way to control the DVR via your computer. May i suggest the Media Center iR Blaster that comes with most HP remotes?

Haven't had to use one myself but it looks like a pretty good fix for what might other wise make a tricky project.
