Turns out it was real. When I couldn't find it before I issued a ticket with Blizzard support. I got an email last night sometime saying it happened to a few people by accident, and was fixed. Logged into Battle.net this morning and it's there. Downloading now :D

Haveblue, When you long into your B-net account you should be able to go to 'management' tab(i think thats it) if not click on "add game" and in the area where you see the games attached to you account you should see a 'box' cover for starcraft II Beta, under that you can dl the game. If ...

If you care about seeding (like I do), here's how 2Mbps up on the 30 Mbps service will affect you:

Assuming you seed consistently at 150KB/s (not quite your max) for the entire month:
(150 KB/s * 2592000 s [30 days in seconds]) = 370.788574 gigabytes uploaded alone.

Good luck with that 250GB cap. ;)

Gratz, you're battle.net account is now compromised!

I considered that, but all the links are legit, and the email was mailed through blizzard.com. I typed in the URL manually too, if I remember. I'm going to change my password anyway, just in case though, now that you have me worried. haha

Eastlink 15/5/1.5 doesn't have any caps either. AT the kiosk in the mall, I saw an ad for "OMG Extreme 100mbit/s", so we'll have to see when that happens. These new Docsis3.0 modems will go well beyond that speed. I was able to "upcap" a torrent, have it go at 1.4MB/s and my pin...

I got an email with an "invite" saying to log into Battle.net and it'd be in there. But it's not. :(

250 GB is manageable but:
Upload speeds up to 2 Mbps

That's the deal breaker for me. 5Mbps up on the 100Mbps service is just absurd. Better upload speeds would be the only reason for me to upgrade or change providers. (See: Aliant FiberOP)

Browsing works just fine from my iPhone.

iPhone SDK has no native SQL API anyway. Or at least, not that I've found so far. Sorry.

Found the solution buried away on some forum. Seems to be a problem with Atheros L1 Gigabit chips.

Solution is to go into the Advanced tab of the driver page, and disable Task Offload. Everything works great now.

Hey guys. I have a bunch of shares set up on my desktop (running Windows 7 (x86 :( ) Business), and am trying to use them from my Macbook Pro. However, some time into the transfer, my network connection (on the desktop) will just drop. And it won't just drop, it won't even reconnect. I have to disab...

You guys seriously need to invest some time into getting into a good tracker.. :P I max my connection in seconds, on every torrent. Movies take minutes to download, not hours. Usenet is good, but torrents are much easier to manage. Though, I guess if you're not into seeding then Usenet's where it's ...
