I think that was one of the 8800GTX I may have sold to Tony?

OCZ 12800 or 1600Mhz speed range CL 8 supposedly. It works as advertised. I know in Sandra I get great performance, but that does not seem to translate to this bench.

yeah i think this bm more mesures the size of the memory then the speed of it.

or how accurate is this test thing.

still pretty cool my 775 cpu is pretty close to the i7. i may wait abit longer to get i7 as i originally anticipated. performance increase for the amount i would have to spend. im better off just getting a new video card and wait another year maybe

It's the HPC 1.9v ddr3 1600 2x2gb kit from tony, as well as board and 920.

It's a very rough overclock and was quickly done prior to doing passmark.

that was at 4.0 Ghz with turbo making it 4.2 Ghz not going above 50 C and 34c idle.

Qpi is 1.4 and vcore is 1.5 atm. Ram is at 1603 for that pass.

Vista made me redo my OC because some things didn't mingle. Why yet, i'm unsure. So it's back to basics.

I'll throw in another run later since this OC was built like duplo blocks.

i still need to format my pc... i installed new motherboard and never installed a new os on it LOL
i could probably gain abit there.

the race is on im gonna try to get this as close to par to the i7 possible over the weekend.

im also curious to the cpu mark u guys get in 3d06 and vantage.

im lookin for my vantage disk now with cdkey. free version only lets u run performance i think

My last 3dm06 run for cpu was 6727, last Vantage cpu was 15685 with no ppu enabled.

i think my marks are in my i7 thread on my oc.

I think i have better cpu marks now that I think i can achieve higher soonish

i got this lapped with 2000 grit.

also what is your guys temps. im idle accross the cores35-43 on load it hits 60s

you must disable ppu.

in vantage, click on options, you will see the ppu option there.

Did some tweaking on my passmark test but had to do some downclocking on the memory.

Hopefully ski can post a comparison on it.
