My latest upgrade, nothing fancy. Upgraded from a Intel E5200 with a 9800GT.

AMD Phenom II X2 555 Black Edition (3rd core unlocked, 4th will not permit Win7 to boot)
ASUS M4A785T-M/CSM
OCZ Vanquisher
POWERCOLOR 5770 1GB
OCZ Gold 4GB (2 x 2GB) DDR3 1066 MHz
OCZ StealthXStream 700 Watt PSU
ANTEC Gamer Nine Hundred Case
320GB Western Digital HD
500GB Seagate Baracuda HD
currently running on a 22" LG Flatron
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit

Next upgrade will be the hard drives, and 24" monitor, I liked the Asus they have there at MB. Also will be soon grabbing 4gb more ram. Also pondering putting my Twin Turbo VGA Cooler on the 5770 if it's compatible. The only things I did not purchase new in the past week would have been the monitor, Hard drives and the OS. Also pondering setting up a raid.

I dont think the 5770 would ever get warm enough to warrant an aftermarket cooler. Enable manual fan control and overclock it. Those cards are amazing cool as is.

If you really want to see actual performance increases, get an SSD.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, figure I'll let it go with the 9800GT since it provided that card a HUGE temp decrease. SSD is another thought I had.

Some photos of the rig, although the wires are pretty messy below the motherboard. And I must say the External SATA X-dock is freaking handy!

Nice build! Interesting location for the V8 fan speed control - Nice!

Run a bench of that thing - I am curious to see the scores for that card!

New shiny cases look so awesome before they get covered in Nova Scotia salty sea fog dust!

LOL I like shiny new cases, I feel like I need to buy a new one every couple of months haha. Have my 900 Gamer just kicking around in the spareroom now.

Here's a run though 3D Mark Vantage, GPU stock and CPU running with 3rd core unlocked and OC'd to 3.7Ghz.
