Nice rig bro! Your 5870 looks like it has lots of room to breathe and lots of good cable management! The V8 always looks bad ass but obviously it's just for show if you're not pushing your cpu any. I have the same mainboard and have been very happy with it's performance and features! What brand/wattage PSU do you have in there? So I always think a relevant discussion in these threads would be "What are you adding/upgrading next?" IMO I think it's time to ditch those Seagate drives (they scare the shiat out of me) and get a WD and/or invest in a decent size SSD for your OS install. Other than that you got something to be proud of there my friend! |

The 5870 gets direct outside air from that bottom 120mm fan and next is Corsair TX850, only running a cooler master extreme 650 right now and only has 2x6pin then another 5870 a new HAF 932 Black Edition or HAF X, this one is going to my son, his CM690 dosnt have the air flow for my old 4890. Then a new AMD 965 with a COOLiT ECO C240 A.L.C. CPU water cooler or Swiftech H20-220 Apex Ultima XT Liquid Cooling Kit, 890fx or 890gx MOBO and 4 gigs of corsair 1600 and as for my drives I just bought them they are brand new, gonna buy another Seagate Momentus XT 500 and run them in Raid. SSD's are still to much money for the size and my 940 isnt running stock its at 3.6 |

Jesus dude - that's one clean build. It doesn't get much better than that! Amazing neat tidy and clean cable management. Very nice indeed. |

Yay thumbs up all around!! Where you got your 940 at 3.6 that V8 is probably doing wonders in this summer heat!! So you're putting in a second 5870!! You'll love it from what I've seen and heard! And you'll definately want to accomodate for the heat and power increase so you'll need at least an 800w to feel comfortable it's getting proper power! Look forward to seeing updates on your rig as you continue the build! Very nice so far, AMD FTW!!!! I had to notice your G5 there. I gotta get my dig in lol. I HATE THE G5!!! With a friggin passion but I can't knock those who like theirs as they seem to really love them. I just could never feel comfortable using it, I've always needed low profile mice like some of Razer's models (Diamondback, Copperhead). I had a Deathadder once and wasn't fond of the ergonomics then but then I caught a 3.5G Deathadder on sale one day and had to grab it (Futureshop mistakenly marked the 3.5G as a discontinued 3G) and I've been using it and love it... Enough rambling from me, I collect peripherals like hockey cards lol, I have a full array here, just wish I had my Tarantula again, might have to see if Denty still got his for sale! |

I STILL never got my hands on the sentinel yet. Hali-Newf turned me off it at first then said he learned to really like it so I may just have to break my loyalty to Razer and give it a shot. It's more about ergonomics to me, as I would never use anything higher than 1000dpi at a low sensitivity setting anyway. |

I love the Sentinel. I had to change some of the default settings tho - that's expected id imagine. It was really really twitchy until I turned down the DPI. Also you will have to use a mouse pad of some sort in some cases if you have a black top on your desk like I do. It won't pick up movement on it at all. I have the lighting set to "breathe" and its cosmetically awesome. Once I got used to the grip I wont trade it for anything. Pick one up and give it a few days! on the fly dpi changes work wonders for BC2 when jumping in a slow turret moving tank PWN! |

The screw mounts on the fan duct broke on it so the zip tie holds the fan duct on could not have been bother to send it away for god knows how long, so I put a zip tie on it, makes it easy to clean too lol. |

And Duct Tape is fairly cheap and quite plentiful. And availble in a range of colours and sizes! |
