Nice I'm debaiting going with that case when I do my water cooling setup. That or the Antec 1200 not sure yet. I have the 900 & like it so might do up the 1200 cause I know it'll be lighter than the Cosmos lol. Looking good though for sure! |

I like it. As much as I'm into the discrete looking cases right now it's almost a shame there's no window because the wiring/tubing is done very well and begs to be shown. |

I can't say I see the point in water cooling, especially with a sextuplet 120mm fan rad. |

I hear you, especially when you consider that the new chips (and those in the pre-production phase) are supposed to run a lot cooler. That said.... I swap a lot of chips in and out so it's nice to know I'm not going to be hitting much of a wall when I go to OC them. Quote: Nice I'm debaiting going with that case when I do my water cooling setup. Looking good though for sure! Are you sure on that? Isn't the 1200 supposed to be a beast in size? I saw a couple of pics on-line a couple of nights ago, but you can't get a good idea of size until you see one in front of you. The Cosmos S is lighter than the original Cosmos 1000, they switched to pretty well all aluminum construction. It's 13.6 kilo vice 17.2 kilo for the 1000. A 10lb drop is pretty substantial. Cable management isn't quite perfect, there are still some issues up top/rear, but only with the 8 pin CPU plug. Everything else was a dream to work with without requiring any dremel work. |

Damn, son. You make me want to do some serious cable management in my case. |

Strangely enough, I haven't really done the cable management marathon required to tie everything off properly. Everything you see is a function of the case right out of the box. I still need to take the time to pretty up the cables which can't be hidden on the back of the case. |

I don't even bother trying to keep the wires tidy anymore, I've been upgrading far to often. |

I've gotten fairly lazy too. My Sonata doesn't have a window so as long as the wires aren't blocking anything or getting in the way of fans then I'm fine with it. I went from a flashy "show case" to a quiet unintrusive case. |

Well the 900 is an extremely light case to me & I can't see say 6" taller making a whole lot of difference in it's weight. Plus the 200mm fan is just to cool & set at idle you hardly hear it. I'm up in the air on whether to go with the preinstalled rad one or get a dual rad & install it in the front of the case out of sight. Regardless looks like a cool case to me & quite abit lighter than the cosmos for sure. not that it matters as it prolly won't be moving once it's built. http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/show ... p?t=505892 |

Man no way lol maybe fully loaded with all the HD bays filled to the brim with hard drives it might be that heavy hahaha I dunno dude it was half the weight of my full tower Aspire case easy I know that! I even said how light I thought the 900 was & commented on it. I dunno it seemed pretty light to me lol. Ok I just weighed it fully loaded(I can't beleive I did it but I did lol) & it weighs in at 28 lbs fully loaded with all my gear in it. |

antec lists its weight as like 27lb packaged, thats what i was going by. thats still a very heavy chassis (though not as heavy as my gunmetal 380 super tower i was using). my CM690 with way more hardware in it only weighs about 23lbs. i have worked on a few cosmos 1000 chassis and cosmos s , and i have to say the cosmos s is by far my favorite of the two. cosmos in general are amongst my short list of favorite cases. but i hate godly flashy cases, thats why i use plain but stylish cases like the p182 and the CM690. |

Antec = boat anchor My 1000AMG weighed a freaking TON, like 80lbs fully kitted out. Granted, long after man is extinct that case will probably still be around. |

Seriously how is it a boat anchor? I can lift it empty with my damn pinky for christ sake & no doubt it only has a 2 degree variance from any other case as far as stock cooling would go lol. Everything is well layed out in it & so forth. I'll throw up a pic later on of my case fully dressed & it's the cleanest case I've had yet by far. I'm not saying it or any other case is garbage but they are what they are "cases". Period. lol |
