ok here is what rob sold me lol

asus p5q3 ddr3 mobo
q9550 quad
2gig ddr3 g skill ram
1 150 gig velociraptor hd
750watt ocz psu
coolermaster cm 690 case
4870x2 card (have another one comming)


and this is what i picked up 2 raptors for rad 0
zalman cpu cooler
another monitor


this system broke 21k 3dmarks on a single card

i will have 2 4870x2's for it by the end of today

i have this setup over clocked from 2.83ghz
to a whooping 3.95ghz with 30 second stay in the bios

here is my system minus one card as i took it out untill i get a bigger powersupply 750watts dont cut it

anyone got a 1000 watt or more they want to trade and maybe some cash i can add to the deal??

Better get a modular 1KW PSU. With the amount of spaghetti being barfed out of that 750W I'd hate to see how much more wires a PSU 33% bigger has.

Octocore! You should have your computer off all the time so you can afford one when it comes out instead of paying NSP the power bill to build a new HQ.

yeppers going into MB Today to pick up 3 or 4 fans

sswilson 4.098 is where i am stuck at this MOBO is nuckin futs (replace the f with the n and vice versa)

i have to type in all of my voltages
NB is at 1.28
ram voltage is @ 1.45
my multiplier only goes to 8.5 no higher can i un cap it?????? maybe i need some drivers for it beta ones maybe lol

4G is actually not too shabby for a quad core.

As far as "uncapping" goes... not going to happen.
The only chips that can be raised above the default multiplier are the enthusiast (and stupid expensive) Extreme (QX) ones at the top of the food chain.

Once you start getting over abou 440 FSB on a quad it's a crap shoot.

The P45 chipset doesn't seem to be hindering them to much, at least in benchmarks.
