So it was a love story, in 3D, with big blue cat things, in 3D, with lots of stuff blowing up, in 3D. Did I mention it was in 3D?

3D!

And no Celine Dion!

So overall was it worth seeing in IMAX 3D? I'm tempted but not completely sold yet.

Do it. It's a game changer.

The 9:40pm show last night, in a snowstorm, was packed for IMAX.

I saw the trailer in 3D and it looked pretty good (visually at least). Plus I have a cousin who works for Weta and I believe she helped do some work on this movie.

Man....

Movie kicked ass

3D effects were amazing

Story wasn't too bad, they tried real hard to make it epic..

Lucky SOB's.... Being legally blind in one eye = 3D glasses failure. I've always wanted to watch a 3D movie, but well it doesn't work :(

I call bullshiit on this one. Hopefully the box office revenue drops to 0 this weekend.

tho I pulled a pirate and watched it, I would still go to the theater and see it in 3d.

The movie is worth the watch.

Wouldn't the downloaded version look all weird on a regular monitor?

Has anyone looked into the technology behind Real D 3D yet?

Very cool stuff they're doing.

Will be in the home soon enough.

From what I've read (headlines mostly) the pirates reverse engineered the 3D to make it look like a normal movie for the download. Pretty smart stuff on their part I have to say.
