It's certainly not as bad here as predicted. My street was actually plowed when I got up so of course I then had no excuse not to got to work.

Think something just got ripped off the roof here at work

You guys can keep that, it may be a bit chilly here, but at least I haven't had to shovel much (knock on wood).

Give us your address, well all pitch in to ship enough snow to fill your driveway.

I managed to make my way to work via the ever efficient hrm transit. Though 15 minutes after arriving, horray the power goes out! As of 11 am, eta for power restoration to burnside industrial park is 11:30 pm.

All I can say is Air Canada fscked up big time. They could have been sensible like WestJet and just plain cancelled all their flights before noon instead of basically letting 1000 (eventually) me included sittign or standing or whatever in the airport. Finally said fsckit and went home only to pass out waiting for customer support on the phone. Got another flight on the 24th this morning after about 1 hour on hold.

On the upside, I wasn't one of the few unlucky who have been stuck there since Friday waiting to get to (or home to) London.

My flight was the 10:10 to Toronto, it got "cancelled with prejudice" 3 times.

That was taken at about 8:30 in the morning. No flights had gotten in out by the time I left at 3pm. The black dots are part of the window, not a defect with the camera hah.

There was a total lack of comminucation between the airport (lack of) authority, the AC reps and AC the corporation. No one was willing to make the call to just cancel the whole shebang thusly wasting all of our time for several hours.

Because I'm here instead of Halifax I was able to see the final 2 eps of Atlantis (pre-airs) and also got a screener of Passchendaele to watch with the folkes over XMAS.
