Hello,

I bought a system from MB maybe a month ago and it's working great and does everything it's supposed to. It's been a while since I gamed on something good.

Anyways, I've had an issue since I bought it but didn't have much time to look into it..and it's not super serious but my system seems to lag I guess for a couple seconds every now and then..it's a pain in the ass for recording music because it messed everything up, I can deal with it when playing games..but it happened when I watch movies and what not.

What can be causing this to happen? The system's brand new, and awesome at that aside from what happening haha..

it's hard to say what's causing this with out a little more information. It could be a program you're running, it may be windows, it may be a hardware issue. i cant say with out testing, call the shop on monday, they'll want to take a look at it.

This is the exact same post, but I didn't get any replies.

It happens regardless of whatever program I'm using, I believe it's the soundcard because it happens more depending on how much sound i'm using.

Doesn't happen much when just surfing the net/msn.
It happens a bit more when i'm playing computer games.
It happens very often when I'm playing intense video games when there are songs playing, lots of sound effects etc. Or whenever I record music it skips and what not.

I'll probably just check to see if the soundcard is in place before bringing it in!
