Hey all,

I'm creating a USB Bootable flash drive, I have it up and running and working, however I want the USB drive to be reconized as the A:. I've done some research online and I can't seem to find any information to lead me down this path. The bootable was easy, just want it be mapped to a:.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction? It's driving me crazy.

I'm not sure, but I think a: is devoted to floppy drives.
Why do you want to map the bootable drive to a, anyway?

A: use to be dedicated to floppy drives by the bios, but modern motherboards and operating systems can now address A: to any device throught computer managment utilities (compmgmt.msc command in windows).

Yea Windows is easy to get it remapped, I just can't get it to assign to anything earlier then c: in DOS. Oh well.
