Win7 is installed and working flawlessly on my machine. Here's a screencap of my desktop after initial configuration. http://i30.tinypic.com/168v9tu.png |

I like it too. As per every Windows release, drivers are a little slow too catch up. I think the frame rates will increase in the next few days. I personally like the memory use display under task manager's performance tab. |

I think it'll be the first copy of Windows that I'll have actually bought the retail release of. Thinking of the family pack and putting it on my desktop, laptop and netbook. Normally I end up with an oem key off a machine. |

I think I'll finally upgrade from WinXP32 with this version of Windows, but probably not right off the hop. There's bound to be bugs and glitches to be sure, but I'm going to wait a month or two for Microsoft to update and fine-tune Win7. |

That's why its on my 2nd pc. For testing really. But so far its impressive. The first OS in awhile that when loaded picked up and installed all the needed drivers for every single device. I didn't need to go on the net to find or grab the motherboard cd. The only driver I did change was the ATI driver for the video card. Its nice to see ATI up to speed with Windows 7 64-bit drivers. Within a month or two, I am moving on to Windows 7 on my main rig. ( I like the backup/restore features of 7 ) A friend of mine with a small home network runs the new server version and Windows 7 on nearly all his machines. He said it runs very well(stable as hell). Better than XP. That's something coming from him as he is a die hard xp fan. |

Once Dirt 2 shows up and I snag a 5870 and 3rd monitor, that's when Win7 is getting installed, on the SSD raid |
