btw. If you read the page on these cars the performance is really good. If they came into a normal market of cars with a competitive price. I would definitely pick one up. |

Same here, the ~$90k tag is little too high, $50k and I might. I can see the company expanding beyond the sports model and making a mainstream commuter car. |

When I first heard about the Tesla cars a few years back I knew it was never something I would own but it was exactly what would be needed of electric cars in order for them to gain mass appeal. Lots of people have this conception that electric cars are going to be wimpy and not be able to go very far and it's going to take a car like this to break that notion. After people start smartening up companies can tone them down and make them more available to the rest of the population. Now if we can only start changing the power grid to green sources of energy we'll be set. |
