Hey all. I'm considering a HAF case for my new build. Wondering if anyone has one and has had any issues with PSU cord lengths.

I want to install the PSU in the bottom of the case.

Have one but haven't installed anything yet. Tops might have in his though.

installed bottom, no issues. Bottom is best spot for it tbh.

I routed the cords through the back and it's nice. It's less slack as well. but just enough room to nicely fit the other side cover on.

Installed was

Toughpower 850W PSU
Coolit Elite
Rmapage 2 Extreme
i7 920
Few extra 120 mm fans.
4HDDs
1 DVD

Thanks for the info Tops. Good to know there wasn't a problem getting the cables to reach. I definitely want to rout all the cables behind the mobo tray to keep the install looking clean.

I've got to get off my ass & get this thing sanded so I can paint it. I'm up in the air what color black to go with though. I want something not flat looking & semi gloss looks flat imo. I dunno.

Are you painting the insides black? I'd like to see a picture of that when you get it done. Been thinking of doing the same before I build.

Are you throwing a primer on it first, or just spraying over the current finish?

I have some black primer for it then spraying final coats of black just haven't decided what exactly to go with. I have semi-gloss but I've seen some done that way & it didn't look sharp enough for my liking so might return it & get something else.

Wont bother with paint. Upgrade too much and swap parts.
