In a nutshell Intel wants too much $ to license newer tech. Blah blah lawsuit, we'll see what happens.

This affects gamer laptops more than anything, since there won't be any newer NV chipsets with built-in vid cards. Good for DAAMiT, I think. It'll also show just how horrible Intel graphics can be.

Less competition = bad :(

I also wouldn't be surprised at total lack of "SLI" in the fermi stuff, just some sort of new crazy interconnect. The last nail in the coffin of 3Dfx, horrible!

Nvidia's Intel chipsets always sucked anyway. I don't think Intel ever gave them enough info. to truely make a good one.

And on a side note, looks like my laptop just went tits-up, due to bumpgate. Outside of warranty (heh).
