You need to understand I'm a collector of only two things:

Games
Gaming Peripherals

I used to do a lot of online reviews for new mice and keyboards so that's the reason I've been through so many. At my old apartment I had like 12 of them hooked up to usb hubs and on a display shelf.

But I'm a little over a year on my Deathadder, probably the longest I've went ever without switching up. In fact, if/when this mouse dies, I'll probably buy another one.

OH and I also have about a dozen gaming headsets as well. Currently using a Steelseries 7H and it's the best I've owned to date.

Have I held one? Yes. Have I used one? Yes. Have I gamed with one? No. I've always had an unfounded paranoia of wireless mice and keyboards. I feel like they're going to die or get interference or latency or something at the worst possible moment.

That's why I passed on the Razer Mamba. Great looking mouse (same profile as the Deathadder) but it's wireless.

I can atest personally to the performance of the G930. I picked it up as it was on sale at breast guy in dartmouth. After trying it, listening to music of all sort both in stereo and 7.1, gaming with it, walking away from my computer, going downstairs and outside the apt with no issues whatsoever - there was no way I was returning it.

Audio quality is surprisingly reproduced very very well and the frequency response broad, they sound so good you will rediscover music you already listened to and hear every fine detail in near perfect clarity.

Gaming is amazing, with subs for each ear and 10 hours of listen time theres no worries of it going dead on ya and if they get low, you can always cable them and charge while you use. look up an online review.

My bad I thought you were talking about the G9 mouse.

I've only ever seen a G930 headset. I haven't tested one though.

For me it was a toss-up between the wireless, full featured Turtle Beach PX5 or the Steelseries 7H. I went with the 7H for both ergonomics, 7.1 and some of it's noise isolation features, not to mention it was highly recommended by a few of my clanmates.

The PX5 was a great headset but quality wise not any better than the 7H and totally not worth the extra $100 for wireless capability.

Finally for the first time ever I bought a warranty on a headset. I'm bad for running over the cable in my chair, eventually breaking or damaging my headsets and I can get a full replacement whenever it happens again. Ended up being a $250 investment by the end of the day.

Yeah, I hear ya. I picked up my G930 from breast guy in dartmouth on sale so it came to about 171 taxes in. yeah I know pricey, but my god so worth it.

Wonder if MB will be getting any of the NZXT mice in? I wouldnt mind one to match the Phantom case!
