make sure you run orthos to make sure its stable.

When I was in Grade 2 I labelled my spelling note book "Speeling" and my teacher made fun of me in front of the whole class. Then during Parent Teacher Night she apparently brought it out again and all the Parents laughed at me and then when my parents got home that night they laughed at me again. My Mom still brings it up from time to time... usually when I bring a new girl home too. So I feel your pain.

quick question when runnin orthos how long shoudl i run it for. or does it stop on its own?

1 says 10 hours
1 says 10 mins for testing

i susually let it run 30 min or so for my own stuff. orthos stresses your system beyond belief so if it can survive that for 30min-1hour your fine for everyday and gaming.

ok 30 mins it is till i hit 2.7 ish ghz then ill run longer tests
so far my temps are fine. never above 40 in either core

is it normal for each core to be different temp?
core 2 is allways 8 degrees cooler

my buddy said a good way to test is just run cod4 for 10 20 mins

and naything under 55 degrees is good im told for 4200+ x2 am2

well so far useing all auto features but the fsb im upto 229 fsb from 200 stock. and running ortho for 10 mins for testing inbetween 2 mhz increments. i started with 221 thats what my board auto 10% oc it to without error at all
i set my dram to auto and its now goin in sync with the processor over clocking

well i max out at 2552 mhz bus 323 ht 1160
any sudgestions. i might be able to figure this out and not have to take it to ya sbeeze. my deadline is saturday by lunch time. if i cant figure it out its commin to you. LOL

i READ online that some1 had a 10 degree difference in themps in cores on water cool and all they did was tighten up the screws.

at first it was sitting around 30 and 40-45 on load
now 22 range and on load low 30s
still about a 8degree difference in cores tho

and blue screen.
