Of course you'd have to actually need another computer somewhere that has a "proper" eSATA hookup to move files to. Whatever the hell the standard is this week. |

have these at work (don't believe there the OCZ ones), they're extrmely expensive. |

I've heard of eSATA before but don't know too much about it yet. Is it hot-swappable like USB or do you need to shut down a system before using it? I'd assume hot-swap for a device like this to be useful but you never know. |

Well I've had mixed results in my system with eSATA, it needs a reboot, and if it find the drive when it boots up then it's good to go plugging ang unplugging until the next reboot. I don't use it that much but it's about 50% faster than USB2 speeds, even with 5400rpm 2.5" drives. |
