In a nutshell Intel wants too much $ to license newer tech. Blah blah lawsuit, we'll see what happens. This affects gamer laptops more than anything, since there won't be any newer NV chipsets with built-in vid cards. Good for DAAMiT, I think. It'll also show just how horrible Intel graphics can be. Less competition = bad ![]() I also wouldn't be surprised at total lack of "SLI" in the fermi stuff, just some sort of new crazy interconnect. The last nail in the coffin of 3Dfx, horrible! |

Nvidia's Intel chipsets always sucked anyway. I don't think Intel ever gave them enough info. to truely make a good one. |

Imagine their AMD chipsets, only worse. |

kill it with FIRE! And on a side note, looks like my laptop just went tits-up, due to bumpgate. Outside of warranty (heh). |
