It is a tiny bit of a nuisance to have to have your computer on to stream from (but that isn't the O!Play's fault) and the rewind often stutters to the point where it's hard to tell what speed it is going but overall I have been very happy with it. The only file format it says it will play but often doesn't work is FLV and that ain't terribly important. All content streams clearly and lower definition picture seems less blocky than other units I've seen.

I have a friend who owns a Boxee Box and he's in love with that and it's ability to not only deal with video but handle all kinds of apps and whatnot, so it is really worth a good look.
