Well, my MX1000 is at the 3 year mark, and the battery doesn't last at all anymore. There doesn't seem to be a decent Wireless gaming mouse out there, so I was looking at the Razer Lachesis Phantom White Gaming Mouse 4000DPI 9 Button Optical USB . Anybody use one of these?

Sounds like you got your money's work though. You might be able to replace the internal batter if you care enough.

I've never heard of that mouse, but I've always eyed the Logitech MX Revolution.

Think I'll order the Lachesis when I get my GST rebate this week. I've tried to track down what battery the MX1000 used in the past, but to no avail. When I get the new one I'll disect it and see if I can cross reference it.

I'm very pleased with my MX518. Good luck with the new mouse, that's the first I've heard of it.

well the MX1000 is using an OEM battery, ie it was made specically for Logitech, so no oof the shelf replacement.

Which was a Wednesday, like 7 years ago M$ would replace a mouse and they wouldn't ask for the old one back, so you could just get new mice every other month or so for a while.

I got the Bluetooth Logitech (MX1K?) mouse and it works pretty good. I'm a fan of built-in batteries.

Well, flying choppers in DC is a freaking dream, Bocage 2, grabbed the Apache with a decent gunner, stayed aloft and alive the whole freaking round with 91 kills for me and 72 for my gunner. There is some serious issues with the 1.00 firmware though, the most annoying was that the buttons, strobe, aka you press them down, and it's like your rapidly pressing them, makes Teamspeak kinda difficult, but playing 'up he see's me, down' rather easy, unless you want to stay down :x 1.56 beta firmware seems to clear things up.

Still havin issues, good news is, I'm not the only one, bad news is, I can't trade up for a working model... Damn, haven't had a bad peice of kit since that Liteon DVD drive, aka the paper weight.
