Here's an interesting new device I saw today on Gizmodo: http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/bug-labs Basically it's a small, fully open sourced, modular computer that makes it somewhat easy to do all kinds of neat things. The videos are a bit dry and I wish they got into the interface and actually loading in sample programs but it gives you a good idea of what it should be able to do. I think estimated pricing was around $299 for the device and the modules were all around $100-ish. Kind of expensive for what would be a toy for me but it still looks pretty neat. |
