So tonight I tell my wife that Burnout Paradise is out for the consoles. She got very excited she loves the Burnout games on the PS2. We were going to go buy a 360 tonight to play it but when we got to the store I saw that PS3 prices had dropped to the 360 level. Now I've been holding off on a console for a number of reasons. 1 being the Red Ring of Death on the 360, all the guys I know with one have had to send theirs back at least once. The HD format wars, with Bluray, the unofficial winner coming out of CES. My only disappointment though is PS2 games won't run on the 40gb version we got. Oh well didn't really buy it to play old games anyways. And the games I wanted to play on the 360 are coming out for both. |

I think I'll be a die-hard PC guy all the way... The last console I bought was the Gamecube, for my wife. (SCOOORE!!! on having wives that game! Alot of my friends are jealous, lol. They just get yelled at for "playing that stupid thing too much") My wife enjoys shooters more than anything. I just gifted her HL2 and Episode 1 over Steam when I got the orange box. I have lots of reasons, but one of the main ones is I collect flight sims... And finding even a semi-serious sim for consoles is impossible. I remember seeing comments on console "sims" and cringing at all the noob comments like "It's just like real life!" and "It's so realistic!!!" People are happy with arcade games. Flight sims have been slowly dying out for years, anyway. I don't see a market for them on consoles... But if I were to buy one, I'd have to go with the wii... I know... I surprised myself, too. I respect Nintendo for remembering the #1 reason for buying a console in the first place- FUN! I have a DS, and I have to say it's a million times better than the PSP. It may not have the graphics, but playing multiplayer Mario Kart wherever you want is great! The battery life is excellent, too. This past 2 years has changed my mind on everything- I used to be pro Intel, Nvidia, and MS Xbox, but now I'm AMD, ATI, and Nintendo until I see reason to change back. |

I'm not a big console gamer, but I have to say, I do enjoy them with some friends. Nothing like grabbing a multi-tap for a PS2 and playing some co-op of.. something. And you can't beat Smash Bros for group fun. |

I love Smash Bros Melee so much. A few of my friends and I are all at about the same skill level in it so it makes for some very fun 1v1 and 2v2 matches between us. Lots of cursing too. |

I am still a pc gamer, but it's nice to have friends over and turn on a box and just go. We have a Wii and I love it but can't get Burnout for it, or GTA4. |

Im thinking about getting this game as i played the demo on the 360 and the graphics are excellent but in the demo there was no racing just smashing through billboards and doing jumps,is this all there is or is there actual racing,i want to street race. |

There is racing in the demo. You can enter events at any intersection in the game just hit gas and brake at the same time when your in one. |
