hey all;

I'm taking applied arts at nscc so we are using macs 99% of the time. recently, I bought 2 OCZ Rally2 8GB flash drives at MB but they don't show up on the desktop when I plug them in. no matter where I look, it seems it doesn't know they're plugged in. on the other hand, my Kingston 4gb shows up just fine. what do you guys think this is? Format problem?

Ah another reason I avoided NSCC along with being full of teachers that can't do so they teach...

No suggestions here. Not a mac guy.

Have a laptop to load shit on and do your work from there?

ROFL, that is a pretty bold statement. I see in your sig that you have taken some courses. Did you teach yourself?

thank you, Topsecret66 for your comment which was so full of help. would you say the same thing about the professors/instructors that taught at the university/collage you went to? Secondly, if you've had nothing but the best of teachers, perhaps you would be educated enough to realize that problems like this can happen everywhere. If you have nothing better to do then throw your insignificant opinions around because you think your right, then I feel bad about such a waste of time.

Thank you, DanDaMan for being considerate.

I'll second that.

Dan wrote a PM to me. I appologize for the comment on your education and NSCC. I have been there myself and found strange things. But good things.

So yeah. Sorry for razzing you dude.

NSCC is the school of the razzing. i go there myself. leeds street campus is where it's at. since you're using macs i can only assume you're at the Dartmouth Waterfront campus.

and yeah, you'll get oddball profs no matter where you go. i had more than my fair share at smu in my two years there. i feel i'm getting a far better education at NSCC than i was at smu since i'll be able to hop right into a job when i graduate. not only that, but into a job doing something i enjoy.

My girlfriend is going to that campus this year and seems to be enjoying it along with the majority of her profs. I'm sure it has it's fair share of weird/bad profs as well but it doesn't sound any worse than what she was used to at Dal or what I've seen at St.FX. *shrugs*
