I have had 2 friends with what sounds like almost the exact same problems; both times it turned out to be the PSU being overloaded. The power output rating on your PSU is MAX, not nominal, and as it gets warmer that rating drops. See if you can lay hands on something bigger, you'll likely be very pleased. (I used OCZ stealthXstream in both cases, which Mysterybyte has in stock)
