How many times have you got a case and a mobo and the front audio leads dont match up to the pins on your motherboard. Anyway, this is not the first time for me, but I'm stumped this time around. I have the following front audio leads on my case: Bundle 1: GND MIC-IN L-Out L-In Bundle 2: GND MIC-IN R-Out R-In I have an M2N-MX SE Plus mb and in the manual it shows the following pinout: [ 2 4 6 8 10] [ 1 3 5 7 9 ] 1: MIC2_L (I connected MIC-IN from bundle 1) 2: AGND (I connected the GND from bundle 1) 3: MIC_R (I connected MIC-IN from bundle 2) 4: NC (I connected GND from bundle 1) 5: Line Out_R (I connected R-Out from bundle 2) 6: NC (I connected R-In from bundle 2) 7: NC 8: (NO PIN) 9: Line Out_L (I connected L-Out from bundle 1) 10: NC (I connected L-In from bundle 1) Questions: Why do I have 2 GND's on my leads when it only asks for one on the diagram? Why are there NC's there? Shouldn't L-Out and L-In go side by side, with the L-In in the NC pin (pin #10) I've used trial and error and just can't figure it out. Maybe someone here can shed some light. |

I hate front panel connectors for the above stated reason. Basically I set the pins as best I can figure out during the build and as long as the power button works I don't worry about it. Any sound, hdd activity led, or even power led I get is just icing on the cake. Sorry for not being a help but I really do hate those connectors and will freely admit I suck with them. |

Strange situation. I never had a problem like such. It's one of those things you have to be there to see I would assume =( |

Yeah, I'm almost positive I tried every configuration I could think of, that made sense at least, and it still wont work. Maybe I'll buy one of those speaker/headset switches. It would suit the purpose of my needs. Oh and Brent those are a godsend I've used them before, but sometimes their pinout don't match the motherboard. I got an Asus board, sure wish they included these in mine. |

everything you have there seems to make sense, except having the L-in and R-in connected to the NC's. as far as i know, and i could be wrong, NC in this case would be No Connection. so try leaving the NC's blank of everything except spare grounds... i think... |
