I downloaded and installed the latest drivers from ATI's website for my 5770 which is brand spanking new. I can play games and stuff, but I get the cannot load device driver on bootup. Not to mention I cant do anything with my card in the catalyst control centre as it jumps to 135mhz and 700mhz memory. (Which is WRONG). Then the screen flicks and i cant do anything no matter how i change the sliders. I can't access anything with my videocard through ATI Tool or Riva Tuner either... any ideas? I've reinstalled 3 times. EDIT: Correction, games have a very low FPS. It runs wow at 25fps.. |

None what so ever.. I had a nvidia before and uninstalled it. I had this problem before with a 1950XT... don't think I ever ended up being able to fix it *sigh* |

What operating system? Ensure your card is receiving adequate power. Find an older driver or the driver that came with your card. What motherboard are u running? |

think we may have discovered the issue. ATI cards traditionally don't like to run above 100 PCI-E frequency, and I have mine at 120. |

when I am OC'ing I know better than to bother touching that. You may get it to 105 or something but I wouldnt bother pushing it. |

I'm gonna do a bit more when I get a 2nd set of ram (having a hard time finding the ECU ram locally so far). And NCIX had a sale on my card for valentines day.. I could crossfire.. never done videos card before. But I don't really need it.. |
