Im having a lot of trouble with my mobo, ive been through 2 of em and i cant diagnose the problem.....i have told though that i should mess with the jumpers on the mobo.. I really need some HELP!!!!

well i start up the computer just fine....then i turn it off, and i turn it back on... black screen... soo i switch a jumper on the mobo....starts back up..but if i turn it off again, it wont turn back on without switching the jumper again.. Thats the problem!!!

weird, its like some fatal error that gets tuck in the cmos battery and u gotta reset it.... Ever think of contacting manufacturer?

well i have messed with the cmos battery, but i wanna know what the correct way to do it is. The way i did it was that i would take the battery out, set the jumper to a different position, come back in 10 minutes, reset the jumper and put the battery back. Now when i did that, my computer was doint the same thing as before.

Computer is fixed and runs fine.... updated the bois and i didnt have 1 of the sticks of ram in the right slot....thx everyone for your help!!!
