You need matching LCD's sadly. Mine will be even worse looking with a 24" and a 19"

My Windows experience gave me a "1.0" for Desktop perf for Aero

Well i would install the manufacturers drivers (chipset etc) and not the windows ones for the hardware and run that again. especially where the video card is concerned ( being an ATI fan I am sure you installed catalyst)

what you got Steve-O should score very well - keep in mind even tho your hardware scores very well - windows takes the lowest score out of each test and gives you the score based on that alone. Thus showing you any potential bottleneck or room for improvement.

The same guy that had the issue Aion, scored a 7.3 out of 7.9 with two less OCZ's and a 5850 , and a X4 940 cpu.

Windoze Experience is BORKED. A guy at work has got a pair of 3870's and it gives 7.9, I think my 4870X2 only gave a 1.0 back the the Win7 beta days.

I think the Windows Experience Index is a good tool, especially for the less savy hardware folks. It is a definative index to show them what performance they are buying and how to balance a system.

I think MBC should be using screen caps of the windows experience rating, rather than the 3DM series.

We've been running PerformanceTest on every new machine and storing the results, just for that reason. Someday in the future, when I don't have 5 computers on the bench, you might see some new features in the Benchmarks section. Right after the new forum banner, of course

Hey look I got bored and made screenshots. Boy I sure do want that 3rd monitor! Too bad the color difference from a 1100$ 27" monitor and a 300$ 25" monitor are so prounounced
