| Post subject: | Dual Card SLI vs Dual GPU card? |
Has anyone seen a comparison or have knowledge of whether there is a benefit to say running dual 275's in SLI vs a dual GPU 295 in a single slot? Is the 295 constrained by the bandwith of a single PCI-Ex16 slot? Is cost the only consideration? |

With 2 seperate cards, if one dies, you still have another to use while you wait for the RMA. 2x 275's should be faster as they have higher clocks than the 295. |

A 295 is similar to 2 GTX260 192s so 2 GTX275s will be faster. |

Thats alot fo cash to utilize for a few games that support SLI. But if it is your thing good luck. On the other hand dual 275's would be where it is at. |
