Well i caved and got one at the uber special price! 5870 vs 4870 with lonely SSD's who need a raid controller and an ecnlosure now, for real! The 4870 in the computer OOOPS, too big easy fix! no more HD enclosure! can't use overdrive (just yet?) get artifacts... Anyways, can't use eyefinity in XP, not that i can even use 3 monitors yet due to lack of displayport -> DVI dongles/adapters. |

3dmark06 score of 12814 1920x1200x8xaax16af 12890 on default, so whatever heh. If anything useful for a stress test, temp didn't go abve 66C and i could never hear the fan on the vid card. Works fine on my 430W PSU, these are with the drivers that came on the CD, so i'll try again once the 9.10's come out whenever. |

I checked the ATI website - they didnt release drivers for xp on they're site - but flip it over to Vista or Windows 7, and voila, they appear. So - not sure if the cd has xp drivers, but you should move up to Windows 7 soon. I can help you out there if needed. thats one long friggin card. Way to go with the purchase!! |

One can still download 3dmark 99? I had it on my download box so it wasn't an issue to install it. The scores are almost the same so it's all wiggitywhack anyways. |

MB has these for a great price. Now upgrade that poopy Phenom I. Their worth their weight in garbage. Here is the link http://www.mysterybyte.com/part/15506/ It's a Phenom II X4 940. You'll get way better results then. especially with WoW |

The only thing that will make WoW run faster is getting it back on the SSD array and not wait for loading times! |

I have to say with 1st hand experience on what I am running now, the 940 is nothing short of sweet. Any cpu you can clock to just over 3.5 Ghz from a decent 3Ghz stock with no volts touched is awesome. I will be keeping this 940 for awhile. |
