Looking at the blow pic it would seem that a 6970 is around 20% faster than a 480GTX.  BUT OOOOOH I guess there is fugdery in the numbers:  Fake fake fake fake, almost as bad as that 7xxx series slide with a release date of April 1st, 2011. |

If these are under $400 I will most likely pick one up and sell my 5850. I am expecting about 10% higher performance than a 480 but nowhere near 20% (unless we're lucky). Who else plans on getting out their wallets for this guy? |

we'll see. The 5850 is the best single card solution I have bought in a very long time if ever. It would take one mean card for a good price to get me to switch. |
