You'll see plenty of gain, the E8400 has been holding back the 5850.

Seem's retail isn't supposed to be available until the after CES show-and-tell

Thanks alot guys for the responses. I thought this, but since I am not up to snuff on bottleneck limitations and such. I thought I would get some info. Now I can look forward to my next upgrade. I got the wife onboard. Soooo WOOOOHOOOOOOOO

Nice prices.
The online store I checked have a 1 cent price difference between the 2600, and 2600k.

Introductory pricing. There's no way they'll continue to sell unlocked K's for the same price as an locked one.

Some sites have a K series costing more, some less...

Kinda like when supercar makers release a superleggera version of a car: Get rid of 200Kg of stuff and charge 50 grand more.
