Well Seeing as the g/f's parents seen the UV build I just finished for my brother. They asked if I could piece together a 'new' machine for them. Topsecret was kind enough to donate the case as he's moving (lucky me) and I did a little cable sleeving, wire routing, modding of the interior and a lil fan mod to the door for further cpu cooling.

With the motherboard tray removed ( awesome lil slide out mechanism ) I did the case floor in some funky 70's style adhesive chrome.

As I dont have any other parts but a 74G rappy - this is a good time to get it outta the way. Here it is so far...

Thanks alot for the comments guys - appreciated much. It took a few hours of messing around with it so that its very neat and tidy, with no seams to be seen etc. I am really happy with it.

Hey Skiman - definately interested. PM sent.

lol Neat.

The inside of the case I knew needed some cleaning I only had a chance to wip and sterilize the outside a bit. Sorry about that one

No worries - the cleanest pc is usually hiding a lil dust bunny somewheres. I would do it anyways even it was clean - habit I guess.

Minus the missing light on the lower corner, it looks brand new. The entire case got a wipe down, inside and out. If I get those parts from skiman, this build will be done soon :) so more photos to come when its completed.

yeah go glitter and some nice pink paint, do a few lil cute hearts and bunny's all over the place, some tiny lil fluffy bears and what not. Perhaps even a trim with some white feathery fluffy fur. :P

Skiman did a mod with the same material awhile back. Photos of his on another thread. That adhesive chrome is awesome. Wicked for reflecting light and having something a lil different. I think it was the "paint" thread where I ended up doing a UV mod as a xmas gift.

I was surprised how easy it was to apply the adhesive chrome without missing anything or getting seams. I just had to cut carefully and take my time when applying. nice stuff!

Well..a little further..Installed two 80mm Fans in the lower front, side by side. While the front cover was off, re routed some wires a little differently to tidy things up. Also ran the fan controller cable along the lower front of the case and used the pins in the case to hold it outta sight - to ajust the 80mm in the door to direct more airflow to the non existant cpu

Also installed a 120mm in the rear and tucked the cables away so they cant be seen.

Installed the raptor, and the Ide cable for the single optical drive.

Then I thought why not wax the case. So I did. you wanna talk about a wicked hard shine. Made the thing look like it just got painted.

seeing as it a crappy day out - I decided to have a look at this build. So, I removed the motherboard tray and pin striped around the outer edges that usually visible when the board is in place. Also pinstriped the case support along the top for added effect. I also sleeved the sata hdd cable.

Well I found the parts needed to finish this build - Pending pickup this evening. I will post photos of the rig when complete ( possibly tonight ) all powered and lit up sporting Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit - and the guts being a strong dual core Intel, 2 gigs of ocz and a 74G raptor. Should be pretty snappy.

Then its being driven down to the south shore on the weekend pending a visit from Santa clause lol

Photos coming soon!

As the board doesnt have onboard video, I am needing an Nvidia card to put in it.

very cheap and low end for now as this machine is for an 18yr old that games on consoles. ( will try to gettem on to pc gaming later hehe) The card will most likely only be used to produce video for now
