I picked up a wicked little White Enermax case with a windowed side panel yesterday in flawless shape. It came with a blue backlit fan controller(under the pwr button) and a temp sensor and a neat little board that you plug in a molex and its got a bunch of 3 pin connectors for fans. Last night I cleaned it inside and out and began a few little mods. Chromed the side of the PSU, sleeved some cables. More work on it tonight and photos to come as I gather parts. What I had in mind is obviously the white exterior, and UV Blue sleeved cables with silver accents and possibly some led white, blue and uv lighting. See how it goes. |

So you've got a project, and I've got an operation. Skiman has a white elephant and Ronedogg has a closet. Fun times. |

LOL I was wondering when you would chime in Steve-O Well I figure keeping busy at something I like doing is better than doing nothing. I am currently in the market for several parts, so if a forum member wants to let something go and make a few bucks, send a pm. I will fire up some photos tonight of the beginnings. |

One massive Thermalright HS with dual Silverstone 120mm Fans...and I thought the V8 was huge..this is even larger. Hope it fits! I also picked up a Zalman Northbridge cooler that would look good - see if I am able to use it or not later.

A small update... Seeing as my b-day is next week, my g/f surprised me with a dremmel type tool. The enermax case didn't have much option in the way of proper, clean cable management, I made my own. It worked out great and it will add to the clean look I am going for with this side project. A few quick cuts here and there and I was able to push all the cables from the PSU right out the back where later, they will be ran to the hardware, tied and tucked away so as little as possible is even seen. The dremmel literally opens up possibilities. oh and I also replaced the psu with a coolermaster 500w.

Thanks for the heads up on that. The disc's it comes with are crap. I burned thru several doing this tiny bit of cutting. I will pick up something more expensive that wont burn off or fly into bits. |
