iv currently have the swiftech apogee GTZ cooling my i7, read numerous reviews and most say the new XT can give me any-wares from 4~25c drop (ya right on the 25c LOL) just seeing if any of you picked one up and how it runs for you, i know its not MUCH of a upgrade but i am also still using the 775 hold downs (that's why i went with the P6T) so i figure ill just upgrade then buy new hold downs in the ever non stop search for more cool :P lol.

i had the pushpins on my xigmatech...and had good temps...however noticed when cleaning the system, that the weight was bending and warping my mobo, so i then ordered the bolt thru...i didnt think that it would make that much difference, but ya it did...currently sitting at 19cpu and 32 for cores...havent taken the time to check load temps, but im sure they dont/wont hit 50c...surprised if they hit 45..plus....motherboard is safe from bending, and the hsf wont budge the slightest bit.....

This sounds totally safe, must have been made by goblin engineers!

Most of my experience with them is from removing northbridge HSF's and it usually ends with me getting a pair of pliers...
