It's too bad I didn't have my old Voodoo 5 5500 kicking around. That would have been a premier card for a build of that era.

p3's board and / or chip is toast so dug out my Gem, Athlon classic 600mhz slot A, on Asus K7M mobo, at the time this was the most overclockable mobo on the market, and i found out about the "goldfingers" device to hardware oc the classics. (also the moving resister trick like older g3 and g4 macs). ppl have gotten 500's over 800mhz so im going for 1ghz! gonna water cool it (a feat in itself as slot 1/a waterblocks dont exist), as for videocard, the voodoo didn't post but that could have been the p3. ran out of time b4 work tonight to try it on the amd, so im looking for any of the last agp cards that hit the market. lol got the 3 top end systems now ready for super fun classic time!

really looking at it (brought the mobo/chip to work lol) and the hsf is mounted to a plate that contacts the cpu, i know its not the most effective route but i think i can mount a generic waterblock to the plate to pull the heat away. or seeing as i have to pull the whole casing apart to hardware oc it i can just make a bracket to mount it right to the pcb., any thoughts from the H2O/hardware elders?
