I would really like to see the cheating tards get booted. Sell the game with a huge warning label. Cheat or run a game hack and you just wasted 60 bucks lol

One can always dream.

I have played many many times when people were hacking. It did piss me off but, I kept playing any ways on a different server. Its the players running hacks to have the unfair advantage ( cause of small dick syndrome) thats ruined it.

just a note EA is not the publisher for COD, Activision is :roll: .

I think activision was more upset about the game getting "patched" for "non-legit" servers so quickly after the game was released. They lost a lot of money due to that and it also created a lot of problems with hackers. When people can hack and not get perma-banned, it brings out all the idiots.

It's why people that are caught hacking should get perma-banned. Put a clear note on the dvd, the case or whatever, that anyone caught using cheats of any kind get kicked.

That way they can advertise that people who are caught cheating, get booted for good. People should respond better to that and sales go up, gamers get a much welcomed gaming experience without getting raped by a cheater

Also subsequent less serious bans( time booted ) for flaming, prejudice, and general adolescent behavior. Maybe even a three strike perma ban. Tighter monitoring by admins as well would go a long way.

EA already made the sale, so them booting the haxors after the sale doesn't hurt their bottom line, might make more sales. Wouldn't want to be customer service reps though.

Permabanned = CD Key ban...

But what's another $20 to a hacker? This is why the counter-strike communities have gone downhill so fast. Buy a cheap key, hack for a few months then get banned. It's cheaper than WoW :P

If activision setups this new matchmaking system properly, you should see a huge decrease in hackers. When their CD Key is tied to an account, which is tied to all your stats, there's something more to lose than just money.

Depending on the ISP, IP ban's don't do much. I can change my mac address of my router to get around that. Good ole' Eastlink.

I thought the Xbox 360 only did 720p anyways so it wouldn't really matter what display you have it setup too unless you're up converting the signal and even then it wouldn't be the same.

It can do 1080p but most games are only designed for 720p.

I played this on Xbox Live last night at my friends, seems to be another solid addition to the CoD series. Although I'm not sure if I'm going to bother picking it up or not, the campaign doesn't really interest me and the online game play just seems to be new guns and new maps. Might have to wait for a Steam Sale before I bite the bullet.
