If anyone wants to no about how it runs on a pc with just a 8800gt,e6750 and 4gb,s ram(old by todays standards)i can only run at 1280x1024 because thats as high as my lcd will go BUT every option is cranked and run with 4xAA and it looks and runs excellent,i was really surprised! My only small gripes with the game are no lean on the pc version anymore and only 9vs9 mp play.

oh my. in future any of you guys need games let me know. like cod6 witch is available on steam and i can get for probably 40%-60% off retail directly from valve, activision or electronic arts.

most of these new games can be digitally distributed with ea download manager or steam. witch means never scratching a disk or having to look for it. just remember the login info for you steam or ea download account and away you go.

Cheers pm me if you would like anymore details

That's awesome Grizz !

After playing for several hours in total over the days off, I like the game. Graphically, its several steps up from COD4 Modern Warfare. New weapons , emblems and kill streaks that are customizable are great too. Some are pretty damn funny, which makes the game all the more fun and you can tailor it to you. Also the physics are much improved overall - there's alot to mention here but trying to keep the post short.

What I don't like is the steam integration. Nothing against Steam, but you will find yourself booted from time to time while steam decides to sync up with the game that's running. Not f'n cool when I just spent ~60 bones on a game to get booted by steam. Boo Steam. The only good thing, Steam knows you paid for the game in case you accidentally use your DVD as a coaster.

You will also find that when you choose a game to play ( there are many many MANY online choices) it has to find players to join, not you joining a dedi server - BOO! - also the number of players in some games are greatly reduced , another Boo. no 18 player free for all, max 8 there, so me no likey as much, as wait times are a little greater sometimes too.

I went right online with this thing so I didnt play the spec-ops or the campaign yet. I seen some mean looking weapons online, even people sporting dual P90's. Retarded. I went so far to get the heartbeat monitor that clips on to your weapon, it works awesome. Kinda like the old motion sensor in the movie Alien if you remember. Also, if you crouch with the blast shield, People can unload clips at you all day long, when they are empty, you can get up and beat em to death with it LOL

So far with my lower end gaming rig its smooth as silk @1680x1050 all maxed out graphically and max settings via CCC. I meant to move up to win7 yesterday but MW2 had something different in mind. I am going to try this game in x-fire soon and see if there are any improvements to note.

I wish they allowed dedicated servers. Most of the games I have played have been very laggy. In one game all the players were moving in slow motion. I am getting 17-20 fps in some games and I run a water cooled rig with a i7 920 , 6 gig ram, 4870x2 xp, and xp pro so it is not my equipment.
Some of the new perks are nice . I like the laser guided bombs and harrier jet. Maps are small for such a new game. Hopefully they will correct the lag issues and dedicated severs as some people won't buy the game because of that. Also there is no longer console support in the game. To get my fps to display I had to install Fraps. Also there is no way to record a demo as you could in COD4.

Usually pictures taken with cameras of things that are moving quickly are blurry.

did any of you see the hail mary knife throw?

the most insane fluke with a knife throw I ever seen - being the game ending kill, you see the kill cam follow the knife over a friggin building into the guys neck!!

I just wired up 2 ATI 4870's in xfire for playin COD.

Wierd but good thing is the issue I had with my board where I couldn't get xfire working in the two primary slots with my two 3870's - is now gone. Both 4870's are in the two primary/secondary slots and running fine with the cable that Steve-O gave me some time ago.

Now that I am working from home today - lunch hr MW2 time :D
