There are official places to get it, but the fastest is by grabbing it off TPB. Make sure you have winrar, as it's compressed in zip7 format (whatever that is).

Best part so far about it beyond it indeed looking like the most beautiful racing game ever, is the AMD splash video (Future is Fusion) when the game starts up, thusly followed by the Intel splash video (without the intel chime).

1 month ago, I'm sure that would have never happened. But it's nice to see a game without NV smammered all over it.

It's nice just to drive very slowly through the water and whatnot, and goofing around crashing into things. It looks like a much better crash system than the console FWIW.

The real one doesn't get released till tomorrow.

The leaked one is rather buggy.

Seems fine to me, if only a little unpolished. 2 tracks, each only has once mode and one car, how much refinement does it need?

Some people had issues with it.

Real ones out now. I'll have to see if my freebie is ready on Steam tonight.

All teh extra 700MB added with the official demo is sound in the opening video? Didn't run any more or less stable.

i got 47.7/32.4 and 44.7/32.7 avg/min fps with 1920x1200 full everything on 4xmsaa and 8xmsaa respectively.

not a big fan of the excessive tearing in the game menus, no matter what I set for VSync.

WTF is the point of Steam! They've bumped the unlock to the 4th, but the game's in the freaking stores.

If you go into the Video settings and setup things, then run the benchmark, all your settings go away  Max out the settings then leave the Options menu, things should stick then.

The benchmark also doesn't appear to be exactly the same each time either, so it makes it pretty useless as a benchmark.

Well the game can be run in ultra, but there are slowdowns which make it very difficult to drive properly, turning everything down to high and taking postprocessing (motion blur, yeah screw that) to "low" makes it run pretty damn smooth.

Can't seem to take screenies due to <insert technical jargon here>.

It(demo) seems to run at ultra just fine for me, 1920x1200, 4xAA

Heck I can even do video capture with FRAP's and it's still playable.

You'll have to try a non-demo level. It's still 30fps slow time but it's annoying as crap. Your interpretation of smooth may be different than mine.
