Anyone play this yet? I've been thinking of maybe getting it. I don't tend to buy games that often.. the last one I got was Borderlands which ran decently on my setup. Do you think this game is worth it? Do you think it will run ok on an 8800 GT + C2D 6750 at 1680x1050? I haven't seen much benchmarking yet on this game.

The ISO is sitting on my hard drive, maybe I'll get around to installing it. IMO it's just another worthless console port (much like Borderlands and Red Faction 2). If your computer has better hardware than a 360, you should be able to play it.

Wanted to buy this game for pc but my 6750 and 8800gt sc wouldn't play mass effect 1 well at 1280x1024 so i got it for 360.Mass effect 2 is much better then 1 in every way and i give it a 10/10.

10/10...big Mass Effect Fan, I really recommend playing the first one though, otherwise the story might be a bit confusing...

The first one is only $20 on Steam.. I was thinking I might try that one first actually.

Bad logic in todays lazy development world, remember GTA4 anyone?

if its graphics are similiar to Dragon Age Origins (another gloirius Bioware game). Then yes! you should be able to.

i've been playing it with an X2 5200+ and an HD5750 at 1680x1050 with everything else on/maxed with no problems.
so with some of the effects turned off your system should handle it no problem.

Will work fine on your specs. I can run it on a laptop even.

It's just a well designed game which most semi-modern pc's can run.

Will run well on

2.0Ghz C2D
2Gb Ram
and a 7800 or later card.

IMO.

I had actually bought Fallout 3 game of the year edition instead of this. Waiting for this one to go on sale before I pick it up. Fallout 3 was awesome though. 8)
