Maybe i sound like a dick, but I hate these people. There's this one guy I know. When I first met him (6 months ago) he bragged about how he just built the best rig in the county that could smoke anything out on the market. Little did he know I was an enthusiast. I got all excited and was like "Really? AWESOME! What do you got under the hood?" Phenom II 720 (he said it was quad but any enthusiast knows this is a tri-core cpu) Geforce GT240 (He said it does DX11 and makes WoW look amazing!) 4gb 800mhz DDR2 and an MSI motherboard (not sure of the model but hell, it's MSI eww) All I said was "Wow, that rig sure beats mine!" Ego boost FTL! He told me last week he was accepted into the Rift beta (anyone with internet could get a key) because he had one of the best gaming rigs of anyone who applied. I'm sure we ALL know people like this and IMO the best thing to do is just nod and laugh inside lol. |

"Gaming Beast" needs to be the new internet meme for "an average computer that has one aspect that is above average." In this case it's the Eyefinity but it could work for other things. For instance "I have Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB of memory and 10TB OF HD SPACE... It's a Gaming Beast! Also, I dislike when people related their computers to vehicles or engines. Calling it a "Rig" or talking about it's "Horsepower" make me furrow my brow. |

My computer here at work has 2GB's of memory, onboard Intel vPro graphics and $20,000 worth of Oracle software loaded on it. It's a Gaming Beast!

My iPad plays farm story with high frame rates.. It's a gaming beast!! My intel atom takes 30 seconds to load IE. It's ...er a beast.. |
