The Crysis SP demo has been released. It's legit, since I've played it already. Not too bad, kind of interesting. Graphics on medium are decent, but there's too much foliage.

There's just the right amount. A lush jungle needs lots of foliage. On very high, even without AA it looks crazy awesome good too. Photograph-quality visuals, if that makes any sense.

Now if I could just get my hands on a tri-SLI 8800gtx setup to see what max AA would look like...

Yeah. I'm nothing but impressed with this. I found glitches galore, but I really can't find any flaws in the game. It's very challenging and it plays so smoothly. It also feels like it was built for PC. The only console-gaming element that I see is the way they set up the suit mode selection menu. That works pretty well though.

Ouch is an understatement, it looks a HECK of a lot better with all options high than medium, but ye old GTS isn't up to it at 1440x900. Hmmmmmmm

bohr, how's the SLI'd GTS's handling this?

well this game stopped my 2600xt dead in its tracks. 1440x900 minimum settings is almost playable. setting the resolution to anything other than 1440x900 makes the game look so distorted that it's unplayable.
now i either need a better video card, or a monitor that doesn't stretch full screen resolutions to fit the width of the monitor.

I just need a monitor for my desktop, and I MIGHT be able to run it on the 8600gts.

SLI isn't much better, doesn't feel like it's taking advantage of it. I've been hitting forums for tips but no help yet.

1680x1050 pretty impressive. Looks like a winner and the hype is true.

I like it.
