I suggest not running Raid 0 at all.

haha im not about bragging rights.
i just want speed.
this computer is going into a driver simulator, me and my buddy's are making it. and i want it to be as fast as possible.
rite now on the vista score everything is 5.9 but the hard drive is 5.7.
yeah i know im just getting picky now
and ya gotta look at it like this. im running out of stuff to do to this computer.
new processors better then what i got are waaaaaay outa my price range.

so greg a raptor it is.
i had a 36gb raptor a while ago. but i didnt really notice any speed difference

hah yeah thats the whole thing. what ever hard drive i do buy its gonna be for benchmarking only. so xp 3dmark everest and cupz . not alot of space gonna be needed on it.

pondering.
how much faster is the ssd i know i read the numbers. but in speaking terms. 5x faster then 10k rpm or 10x

SSD is great for the super quick random access, but that's about it.

Oh so this raid 0 yer doing isn't going to be for anything important? Yeah just go get a couple of raptors and let it fly. It's not bragging rights, it's the god given truth that if you want speed raptors are the way to go, unless you're Clarke then you buy 15,000RPM SCSI.
