Running i965 right now :D

Will take a few days of playing around for some mild oc'ing...with a new bios and setting to learn and a whole new chipset etc.

Thus far very happy with the Rampage Extreme II, i965 and triple channel OZC DD31280 8-8-8-20.

I was looking at some reviews today, even an i920 seems like it would be a decent upgrade from ye old Q6600, but I can't take the plunge until I get my place and see what my finances will be like.

holy crap, I completely forgot I was using Vista!! It's usually crashed by now...

It did!

You may want to get a good psu to power this and those three 8800 GTXs.

Just 3D 06 marked mine at default speeds with the sli's 280GTXs at default, 20k.

I'll get some numbers up soon enought.

What wattage power supply would I need if I wanted to run a core i7, 4 gigs of ram, two hard drives, a 4870, and all the usual computer stuff?

I'm thinking a 750+ watt one. Think that would be good enough?

A PC P&C 750W will be more than adequate.
