I would have to say that hack is using quite good logic this time. Kinda funny though :)

I'd like to see an actual card doing actual things! I'm quite sure the mockup's an impressive paperweight though.

They may have actually demo'd a real card, but it probably wasn't pretty so they made up a 'visual aid'

It's the way the PR people went around saying "it's an actual working card" that really grinds my gears. I'd love it if they had working silicon and bash the crap out of the 5800 series, so the price would then go down.
